Requirements
- All articles submitted to the journal must include the English title for English articles and both Arabic and English for Arabic research. Additionally, they should provide the names of the main author and co-authors (if any) along with complete contact details for each author, including institution/university addresses, personal e-mail addresses, and any other relevant information for communication, such as cell phone numbers or fax numbers, as deemed necessary by the researcher.
- The researcher must provide a copy of any supplementary materials used in their research, such as programs and test, if applicable. They should also submit a written statement acknowledging the copyrights of other researchers (an individual right) and outline the procedures for providing copies of the programs or tests to those who will benefit from the research.
- Each manuscript must include a title and an abstract of the submitted research in both English and Arabic. The length of the abstract should range from a minimum of 150 words to a maximum of 250 words.
- The Abstract should effectively reflect the content of the research, covering aspects such as the study's objectives, tools, methodology, results, conclusions, and keywords.
- Each abstract is accompanied by keywords (Keywords) that facilitate search accessibility through databases.
- The article's length should not exceed (7500) words, including forms, images, tables, appendices, etc. Tables, forms, and illustrations should be placed within the body of the article at their relevant positions, numbered according to their appearance in the text, and provided with appropriate titles, each in sequential order.
- All works must be properly documented, including photographs, models, paintings, and should include sufficient information about them directly below.
- The journal adheres the guidelines of the American Psychological Association (APA 7) (American Psychological Association) for scientific publication in general. Researchers are expected to follow the rules of citation, referencing primary sources, and adhere to ethical standards in scientific publication. - In both the body of the text and the list of references, documentation should be in English (translations are required for all languages, including Arabic).
- The reference list should be alphabetically organized. Please refer to APA style (7) for more information.
- All manuscripts must strictly follow the formatting standard followed in the Jordan Journal of Arts and should be reviewed for compliance before submission. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements or the journal's standards and policies, such as language, style of citation, or codes of integrity (i.e., plagiarism) will be rejected without undergoing any form of review.
- The Jordan Journal of Arts uses a double-blind review process, where the identities of both the reviewer and the author are concealed from each other during the evaluation and review procedures.
- Authors are required to provide written consent indicating that their article will not be published elsewhere or submitted to any other journal.
Procedures for Receiving and Evlauating Research
- Researchers must submit their research through the journal's website, filling out the necessary forms and providing all relevant information on the research submission page.
- Researchers are required to submit a written acknowledgement confirming that their research has not been previously published and is not concurrently under consideration for publication in any other periodical while it is being reviewed by the journal.
- Upon completion of the submission process and information entry, researchers receive confirmation of the successful submission of their research.
- The papers are submitted to the competent editorial board for evaluation to determine their suitability for peer review. If found unsuitable, the researcher is notified, and an apology is extended for not considering the paper for publication.
- Research and studies submitted for publication in the Journal are assessed by a minimum of two referees (peer reviewerrs) with academic and scientific expertise in their respective fields of specialization.
- In the event of divergent opinions raised by the referees, the research is sent to a third peer-reviewer, guided by the editor-in-chief and the editorial committee, who review the reports of the referees.
- The researcher is informed of the peer reviewers' evaluation outcome and is given the opportunity to make revisions based on the referees' reports.
- The researcher is expected to make the necessary revisions according to the referees' reports.
- Modified research is resubmitted via the journal's website.
- In case of acceptance for publication, the researcher receives an acceptance letter. If the research is rejected for publication, a letter of rejection is sent to the researcher along with the referees' reports attached.
- Researchers may withdraw their submitted research from the journal's consideration only during the initial review stage.
