An Analytical Study of Musical Works in Drama by Jordanian Musicians and Their Impact on the Development of Arab Soundtrack

Abstract
The study aims to analyze some of the musical works by Jordanian musicians in the drama, and to understand their impact on the Arab music scene. The Researcher identified the important Jordanian musicians who contributed to the development of the soundtrack of many Jordanian and Arab television series and whose works contributed to the raise of the common aesthetic taste. He also studied the new compositional contexts presented in these soundtracks and based mainly on Arab instruments and Arab maqamat. This study is intended to focus on the role played by these composers in raising the common aesthetic taste. We consider these works valuable for the next generations as they reflect the developement of Arab and Jordanian soundtracks through time. We focus on works of the following Jordanian composers: Tariq Nasser, Walid Hashim, and Haitham Sukkarieh.
