The ritual theater was closely related to the theater, so that the contemporary experiments took place in the embrace of rituals to absorb their aesthetic formulas and reproduce them in accordance with the spirit of the times and the development of the arts and trends of the theater. The Iraqi theater is not far from the world theater experiences, it has been influenced by it and proceeded in its own path in Iraqi form and content.

The importance of the research: To reveal the characteristics of the performance of the actor in the Iraqi ceremony theater performances.

Objectives of the research: To identify the characteristics of the performance of the actor to produce the implications of the presentation in the performances of the Iraqi ritual theater.

Research Methodology: Followed the researcher descriptive analytical approach.

The most important results: The performance of the actor in the liturgical play is an aesthetic form derived from its references to the ritual itself.
