Abstract
This research aims to explore the Bedouins' life previous to the establishment of the current states in the Arabian Peninsula, posed by the Jordanian film (Theeb), which was presented in 2014. Moreover, and because there is a lot to be clarified in the contents of the film, this research studies the film’s intellectual and artistic aspects in order to make it easier for the critic and viewer alike to understand its environment and nature. For example, the title of the film, (Theeb), which means (Wolf), has many implications in Bedouin culture. The film’s story is about the journey from childhood to manhood. However, this journey is not the same as today’s ordinary journey; it talks about the suffering of a Bedouin child attempting to become a man in a short period. The research will answer the most important question: How can this movie in its implications be a reflection upon what is happening these days in our socio-political milieu?
