Abstract

Abstract

Talent shows programs have become widespread in the world and have become part of the entertainment programs that are being broadcast by TV channels. The interest in studying this phenomenon has spread to the Arab region, and many reality television programs have emerged from foreign copies.

This study proposes a comparative descriptive analysis of the content of the "Got talent" shows in three geographically and culturally different regions in the United States, the Arab world and Romania.This study examines how the program was presented, how participants were presented in the final stage of the program, as well as the press coverage of the finals in the program in its three versions.

 in an attempt to answer the question what is important in the reality TV shows, Focusing on showing the private lives of the contesters or showing their talents? The study showed that despite the general rules for the show there is differences that shows in : authenticity points the changing dialogs of the judges the host as well as the participants.

 The three copies of the dialogs change had maintained passion of contesters the will to win and showing part of the contesters  personal lives also they focused on showing the contesters in a differences stereotypical images through revealing parts of their personal lives.
