Abstract

Abstract

This study shed the light on the role of Muscat jewel and sultana ships in the historical events that were between the two cities of Muscat and Singapore, and Muscat and New York cities, by the American artists Herbert Johnson and the modern artist Samira Al Ya'qoubi from Oman.

This sample was purposefully chosen according to the artistic situation for the two artists (19th,21st) century and both artistic views for both artists.

     The study results showed that plastic arts have a prominent role in reviving the countries heritage and communication between them.

The young Generation interest in reviving Omani heritage and belonging to it, is a prominent method for studying the relationships between mother country and the other countries, opposition that led to artistic and creative out puts between artists from the East and the west, a situation that can bring the life to any historical event with all of its concepts and cases.
