Abstract

Art is as old as mankind which developed and flourished among different civilizations.

This research aims at tracing the history and development of the harp since the invention of this instrument till present time. It also provides an illustrational description of the stages that this instrument went through in a chronological order that reflects the relationship between the improvement of the instrument`s potentials and its effect.
