One of the advanced technological innovations is the use of modern strategies that rely on technology or the web. Teaching strategies or methods are among the most critical aspects that educators focus on in the entire educational process. They represent the optimal means through which learning is achieved both inside and outside the classroom, even when using the traditional teaching style.
The study highlights the use of modern strategies based on technology, particularly the use of the web. This study aims to identify the WebQuest strategy and investigate its impact on teaching educational qualification students specializing in musical skills in the Sultanate of Oman. The research follows the experimental method on a targeted sample of educational qualification students majoring in musical skills at Sultan Qaboos University. The results confirm the research questions, showing that the strategy helps students remember the information they study theoretically and enables them to revisit it at any time. It also encourages students to use and study technology while motivating the course instructor to employ WebQuests, which fosters students’ acceptance of the strategy and its application. This indicates significant benefits for the students and their acknowledgement of the importance of applying WebQuests in other courses of musical skills specialization. The research concludes with recommendations, including the importance of diversifying the use of modern technological strategies in the teaching, and the need to hold workshops for university faculty members on how to activate the WebQuest strategy and benefit from it in the learning process, followed by the research references.
