Abstract
The research aims to reveal the importance and ability of cultural heritage in the renewal and development of the creative process of the artist. It is well known that the arts of all Arab countries are of different stripes, including Tunisia. The research examined how the cultural heritage remained the source of the creative process and the evolution of the painting in Tunisia has evolved for more than a century in the history of Tunisian. The research also looked at the choice of some of the artistic experiences that have eluded cultural heritage, inspired by its aspects by its immaterial aspects and derived from its physical properties, and set them on to greater horizons through their creativity in a variety of practices and expressionistic contexts. The research has shown the importance of revealing the role of figurative art in consolidating cultural heritage and thus preserving heritage, it is thus the preservation of the visual, esthetic, and national heritage and its integration into the structure of artistic creation, then Heritage is always a quintessential and aesthetic drink and a source of genuine creativity. At the end of his research, the researcher presented a set of findings that he had drawn, also the researcher recommended a set of recommendations related to the subject matter.
